Photography has been my hobby for a long time. and It is because of that that I find our world beautiful and fascinating. I loved painting when I was a small child and my love for photography shares many things with it. I bought my first camera, the Zenit E, in early 90s in a street in Moscow. My next cameras were the Yashica FX-D, the Yashica FR, the Contax 167, and the Contax RTS III. However, I now use digital cameras most of the time. I still love taking pictures on film though, especially with my old tough and "silky smooth" mechanical film cameras. I use digital cameras only for the sake of convenience and for shortening shooting-to-result time, but I find that the quantity balance increases somewhat for digital images. I unfortunately don't have much time for photography these days, but maybe?

For me, a photograph is not just a piece of the world. It is a piece of my soul, it is the way I see the world.
